About us

Youth Development Australia is a national charity based in Brunswick (Melbourne), Victoria. We create and trial practical initiatives for and with young people, and we contribute to the national conversation through research, inquiries and submissions.

Mission

YDA explores, develops and implements innovative youth development initiatives—creating and trialling projects for young people, informing policy via think‑tanks, conferences and National Youth Commission inquiries, and providing opportunities for young people to develop creative ideas and reach their potential.
