About YDA

YDA is a public benevolent institution created in 2005 by a group of leading thinkers and practitioners in the youth field as a platform for change and as a way of exploring, developing and implementing innovative youth development initiatives. YDA has a foundational commitment to disadvantaged young Australians. The three core activities of YDA are innovative and pioneering projects and programs for young people, think-tanks/ youth issues conferences of leading thinkers, activities and young people to develop creative ideas and National Youth Commission Inquiries on youth issues of national significance. YDA is a national charity with deductible gift recipient status.
